Ida is lost and self-destructive ever since her mother committed suicide and her sister has moved to Berlin to get her doctorate and now has her own family. Instead of driving to her sister, as planned, she goes to the German island Rügen. She finds work and friends who make her life more bearable, until her world is collapsing again.
Great book, I liked this more than the previous, 22 Bahnen. It‘s rawer, has more anger and darkness, and even though the love story is stereotypical it was a good read.
