The Let Them Theory

There's a viral TikTok¹ from 2021 called "The Square Hole". In it, a person puts pieces of various shapes into a shape sorter toy, but all of them go into the square hole.

"The Let Them Theory" by Mel Robbins is that video, but with Let them/let me. Look, this book has some good advice: It's healthy to stop worrying about situations you don't control, it's healthy to take responsibility for your situation. I don't like how some of the techniques described are based on looking down on other people because you "let them".

If this book didn't try to frame every single situation in life as let them/let me and managed get rid of 2/3 of the pages, I would probably recommend this.
